Hey there! I’m Kelly LeGendre, and I originally started this blog back in 2013 when I was pregnant with my first son as a place to share natural pregnancy remedies. As an acupuncturist who specialized in fertility and pregnancy I had collected my fair share of information and anecdotal evidence on things that worked for all sorts of pregnancy symptoms. When it was finally my turn to start my family, I was excited to finally have a chance to do some experimenting with those remedies on myself.

I’m now pregnant for the second time and am again using all the tricks I’ve learned over the years to keep myself comfortable in the face of morning sickness and all the other “joys” that come along with early pregnancy–this time with an even greater degree of success, thanks to the trial and error experimenting that I did last time around.

I’ve also learned that dealing with pregnancy symptoms while wrangling a toddler is a whole new ballgame which comes with its own unique challenges. Plus, in addition to battling my usual pregnancy symptoms, I’ve encountered a whole new set of issues to contend with, like dealing with the flu, bronchitis, and sinus infections while pregnant and unable to use many of my usual go-to’s, and have become an expert in naturally treating things like colic and teething, as well as many of the common illnesses toddlers seem to pick up like magnets. (Thanks preschool!)

With all of my newfound knowledge and experience, I’ve decided it’s time to pick this blog back up, dust it off, and expand on many of the topics I wrote about during my last foray into growing a human. I’m also planning to add a lot more information on natural remedies for babies and toddlers, tips for helping mamas stay sane as they deal with realities of new motherhood, and kid-friendly recipes that will help you keep your little ones healthy and thriving, even while raising them in a fast food world.

If you have a topic you’d like to see me cover, drop me a line! I love hearing from readers and am always looking for new ideas to include on the blog. And if any of my suggestions have helped you (or not), I’d love to hear about that too! I’m always open to feedback and would love to hear about your own experiences with pregnancy and new motherhood. Just visit my contact page to send me a note!
