Welcome to the only page I’m legally obligated to have on this website!
Here’s the thing… In case you didn’t know, blogging requires (a lot of) time and (a little bit of) money. One of the ways I’ve found to help me afford to spend the time and money required to produce free content on this site is by adding in affiliate links to some of the products I already like and recommend to my patients and readers.
It works like this: I add a link to a product I like (usually on Amazon [because who doesn’t shop on Amazon?], but occasionally on other sites too), then if you click on the link and buy the product, you pay exactly the same price you would if you found it independently, and I get a small commission on the sale.
My main goal for this site will always be to share information that I hope you’ll find helpful, and to build a community of like-minded mamas all helping each other get through the tough (and often lonely) early years of raising kiddos. Making money from this site is secondary, which is why I’d never, ever recommend a product I didn’t believe in 100%. Besides having no interest in helping companies that produce shitty products make more money, I’m also not interested in losing your trust by shilling stuff I know is crap—even if it were to mean a couple extra bucks in my pocket. I’m super picky about the things I buy (especially when it comes to health-related stuff), so I’d never recommend something I wouldn’t use myself.
As of now, I’ve decided not to plaster this site with ads, mostly because nothing annoys me more than trying to find information I need amongst a sea of flashy ads and self-playing videos on a website that loads like frozen molasses. That means affiliate links are the only way I’m currently making money from this site. If you decide to buy something I’ve recommended through one of my affiliate links, please know that I’m super grateful for your support and that I don’t take your trust lightly.
And finally, because Amazon says so, I have to tell you this: Kelly LeGendre (that’s me!) is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
I hope I made that all pretty straightforward, but if you have a question about the meaning of any of this stuff, you can always contact me here.
